Duluth 2-8-8-4 Tin Sign

4in x 8in .025 metal sign with four 1/8in mounting holes.  Tin sign features a monster Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range Yellowstone Class articulated 2-8-8-4 steam locomotive. One of these monsters is on display in Minnesota.  Baldwin built in 1943 with 63 inch drivers, on which 565,000 pounds rested. Engine and tender weight was just shy of one million pounds.  There was a previous class of M-3 locomotives of the same configuration. Click on above image for zoom.
